I am an illustrator/artist
Combining disciplines has inspired my career, enabling me to branch off in different strands of creativity and create images for various clients around the world.
I worked as part of an amazing team for 7 years at De La Rue, I enjoyed managing time scales and developing high profile projects like Security holograms on world currencies, the UK passport, the 2012 Olympics, FIFA and the Brazil World Cup.
Working predominantly in Photoshop, Illustrator and Freehand, I drew up portraits of figure heads for currency, or stylised designs to adhere to and compliment brand sensitive guidelines.
Information graphics is a recent development in my career. Illustrating for an easy read booklet, consisting of easy to follow instructions and images that are aimed at parents with learning difficulties.
In fact all carers will benefit from this concise information booklet that details best practice when caring for babies and toddlers.
Being commissioned by a social enterprise company, I am fulfilling a goal to help others through my illustrations.
These booklets will be distributed in places like the NHS to ensure information is easily accessible to as many expectant parents and carers as possible.
Working in Illustration, Design, Design and prop production, Artists design assistant, Gallery curation, Product concept-Design and Holography has taught me to interpret various modes of communication.
I love the development process. Considered experimentation throws up exciting challenges which in turn keeps mark making interesting.
Exhibiting at Selfridge & Co., The Truman Brewery Galleries and New Designers in London were amazing opportunities to showcase artwork to the public.
